Plaguemace Announces Breakup After Six Years
After six years, one album and one EP, Danish death metal band Plaguemace has announced that they have decided to split up. A message from the band reads as follows:
"Sadly we must inform you all that Plaguemace is no longer. Thank you all for for supporting us throughout the years. Your dedication and support has really meant the world to us. We love you guys forever.
"If you wish to follow the members’s other project Anton and Ruben have an immensely heavy doom/sludge band called Oil Slumber, go check them out. Andreas is working on other projects too, announcements will be made before you know it.
"We are selling out all merch at 25% discount at plaguemace.com
Please buy the last merch, some members of the band are still a fair bit of money out of pocket.
"All sales from our rainbow t-shirt design will be donated to Café Sappho Aarhus. Should there be any surplus from sales
it will be donated to the handicap-friendly festival Rock Og Rul.
"We love you forever."
Plaguemace formed in 2019 and released their debut EP, "Primal Priest" the following year. The band secured several high profile support slots with such bands as Nervosa, before releasing their first full length album, "Reptillian Warlords" through Napalm Records in 2023.
