Original Razor Drummer Mike Embro Passes Away
Mike Embro, the original drummer of Canadian thrash metal legends Razor, has passed away at the age of sixty three. Embro, sometimes written as M-Bro, was an important part of Razor's history, having been a member since 1983 and performing drums on their first four albums, "Executioner's Song," "Evil Invaders," "Malicious Intent" and "Custom Killing." He would leave in 1987 but made a return of sorts on the band's long awaited 2022 album, "Cycle Of Contempt," where he performed backing vocals. Prior to Razor, he performed in Wrathchild along with Razor guitarist Mike Carlo, and would go on to play with Illumination and 10 Carden Street.
