The Zenith Passage Premiere New Single & Music Video "Fleshbound Reliquary"

The Zenith Passage have returned with a new single, “Fleshbound Reliquary.” The progressive death metal outfit teamed up with producer Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Archspire) for the track, marking their first new material since 2023 and their first release since drummer Max Sepulveda rejoined the lineup in October 2024.
Frontman Derek Rydquist commented on the song’s lyrical themes:
“‘Fleshbound Reliquary‘ depicts a world and existence where resources have been so ravaged that we are forced to look towards ourselves as the means of production for what comes next.”
Adds guitarist Justin McKinney:
“Musically, the track features a series of tightly interlocked rhythmic motifs executed with laser precision, all within a traditional song structure. The piece is primarily in 3, culminating in a grand, climactic resolution of the main motif that transitions into a powerful 4 feel for an epic close.”
The track has already seen several live debuts during the band’s ongoing North American trek supporting Entheos and Fallujah, with Tracheotomy opening the bill. That tour is now nearing its end, with the remaining dates as follows:
12/02 Tampa, FL – Orpheum
12/03 Orlando, FL – Conduit
12/04 Atlanta, GA – Masquerade (Purgatory)
12/05 Asheville, NC – Eulogy
12/06 Nashville, TN – The End
