Everything has its time and sometimes, you have to wait a bit for the best. But the wait for the concerts of Corrosion Of Conformity, Coroner, letlive. and Djerv is over – you’ll see them in the Mystic Festival next year.

Corrosion Of Conformity

It’s not often that you come across a band that not only has mastered many different styles, but that has inspired entire generations. Truth be told, there really isn’t another band like Corrosion Of Conformity. They were one of the pioneers of the American crossover scene of the 80s, only to, after a short thrash episode, truly find themselves in sludge and stoner metal – though they can still hammer heavy metal of the purest form. Any moment now, we can expect their new, double album, they’ve also unveiled a series of Riffissippi Studio Jam Sessions and just finished touring the US with Judas Priest and Alice Cooper – COC are writing another fascinating chapter of their story, and we’re elated that we get to be part of it.

Coroner

Can one ever follow-up an album as excellent as Grin? Does it even make sense to release a new record after over 30 years of silence? In theory, this could never have worked, but in practice, Coroner have done the impossible on Dissonance Theory. The Swiss masters of progressive thrash recorded one of the best albums of the year – a classic already, resetting the bar of excellence within the genre. How could we not invite them to join the festival – and we are more than honoured that they said yes.

letlive.

The artist and activist Jason Aalon Butler today is mostly known as the leader of the rapcore phenomenon Fever 333, but before that he was the vocalist of a superb post-hardcore formation, letlive. The band released four captivating and thought-provoking records – Speak Like You Talk, Fake History, The Blackest Beautiful and If I’m the Devil… – before disbanding in 2017. Butler, however, reached the conclusion that there is still more to tell in this story and letlive. are now demolishing stages again as only they know how. Words won’t do it justice; you must see it for yourselves.

Djerv

Black metal devotees will know this voice from her guest spells with Dimmu Borgir, gamers – from League of Legends, and steampunk animation fans from the soundtrack of season two of Arcane. But Agnete Kjølsrud is, first and foremost, the charismatic vocalist of the Norwegian band Djerv. On their debut self-titled, and so far, only, album, released in 2011, they imparted their original vision from the intersection of rock and metal, which impressed with its raptorial energy and captivated with its excellent songs. After its release, the band disappeared for a while, but thankfully, they are back now to finish what they started.

Mystic Festival will take place in Gdansk, Poland at the Gdansk Shipyard on June 3rd through 6th, 2026.

Tickets are available now on the Mystic Festival homepage here
