Shields Premiere New Single & Music Video "Wolfskin" From Upcoming New Album "Death & Connection"
British metalcore outfit Shields have confirmed a January 30th release date for their upcoming album, “Death & Connection,” due out through Long Branch Records. Alongside the announcement, the band unveiled a music video for their latest single, “Wolfskin,” featuring guest vocals from Taylor Barber (Left To Suffer).
Speaking on the album as a whole, Shields collectively shared the following:
“‘Death & Connection‘ is a body of work born from the absence of the people who no longer hold space in our lives. This record was created from a necessity to express and soothe our deepest losses. However, that was never the intention. We simply set out to make an album we wanted to hear.”
“Death & Connection” will also boast a trio of guest appearances, featuring Harvey Freeman of Graphic Nature, Jonathan Finney, and the aforementioned cameo by Taylor Barber of Left To Suffer / Seven Hours After Violet.
“Death & Connection” track-list:
01 – “This Is Not A Dream“
02 – “Abuser“
03 – “Kill“
04 – “Parasites“
05 – “Lacerate” (feat. Harvey Freeman of Graphic Nature)
