Ellende Reveals New Album "Zerfall" Details; Shares Video For Title Track
Austrian atmospheric black metal band Ellende has revealed their highly anticipated 6th studio album, "Zerfall," will be released on January 2nd via AOP Records.
Commenting on the thematic elements of the record, the band says; "'Zerfall' is about the transformation of ruin into strength."
"Zerfall," which translates to being shattered, slowly and painfully rebuilding oneself, follows the band's critically praised 2024 record "Todbringerin" and is another step forward for the band as they venture further into the realms of bleak and beautiful heavy music. The album artwork features an oil painting made by founding member and songwriter L.G.
Today, Ellende has debuted the record's first single and title track "Zerfall" with the accompanying video below.
