Despised Icon Premiere New Single & Music Video "Over My Dead Body" - Matt Honeycutt Of Kublai Khan TX Guests

Canadian deathcore mainstays Despised Icon have just unleashed their crushing new single, “Over My Dead Body”, featuring a guest vocal appearance from Matt Honeycutt of Texas heavyweights Kublai Khan TX.

Directed by Didier Charette, the accompanying music video sets the tone for what’s to come on the band’s upcoming seventh studio album, “Shadow Work”. That record—marking Despised Icon’s first full-length release in six years—is due out on October 31st (Halloween) via Nuclear Blast.

The album will also feature guest vocal contributions from Scott Ian Lewis of Carnifex and Tom Barber (of Chelsea Grin and Darko). This fall, Despised Icon will hit the road in support of the album as direct support to Sanguisugabogg on their U.S. run, alongside Defeated Sanity and Corpse Pile. Tour dates are as follows:
