Sinsaenum have unleashed a brand new single, “Obsolete And Broken,” the third track to be revealed from their upcoming album, “In Devastation.” That record is due out on August 08th via earMUSIC and marks Sinsaenum’s first full-length release since the passing of their founding drummer Joey Jordison (ex-Slipknot) in 2021. Stepping into the role behind the kit is Andre Joyzi, who previously served as Jordison’s drum tech.

The blackened death metal supergroup’s founding guitarist and chief songwriter Frédéric Leclercq (Kreator, ex-DragonForce) offered the following insight into the track:

“‘Obsolete And Broken‘ is one the first songs I wrote for this new album. In my opinion, it has all the elements that define our new direction. It is melodic yet aggressive, it has intricate/technical parts, the bridge has clean vocals and guitar, and I’m particularly proud of the solo section which took me quite a while to get right. Lyrically, the song is more sci-fi based, which is also unusual for us.”
