Signs Of The Swarm Premiere New Single & Music Video "To Rid Myself Of Truth" From Upcoming New Album

Signs Of The Swarm have unveiled the title track from their forthcoming sixth studio album, To Rid Myself Of Truth, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below. This song marks the final advance single ahead of the record's official release. The Pittsburgh, PA-based deathcore unit once again teamed up with director Eric DiCarlo (Born Of Osiris, Crown Magnetar) for the accompanying music video, which you can view below.

Drummer Bobby Crow shared the following insight on how the track came together:

“I started writing this song after Dave and I had a chat about getting back to the roots that made us want to make stupid-heavy music. I wanted some straight up knuckling-dragging, slack jaw shit. It felt like a great way to open the album and make a statement that we aren’t here to fuck around.”

Adds frontman David Simonich:

“I personally think this is the heaviest breakdown on the record—maybe tied with closing track ‘Creator‘. My favorite line from ‘To Rid Myself Of Truth‘ was inspired by the recent Nosferatu movie: ‘The shrieks of two, the screams of one, the cries of none.'”

As previously revealed, Signs Of The Swarm will embark on a headlining tour this fall, joined by a crushing lineup featuring Mental Cruelty, ten56., Carcosa, and Face Yourself.
