Band Photo: Megadeth (?)
Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the forum section of the band's official web site: "Well, the Chilean show was fantastic! And except for the 500 people who rioted outside the venue, the 24 that got arrested, the wall that was pulled down and the car that was destroyed, everything went smooth as a baby's bottom."
"We are now in the VIP lounge at the Santiago Airport, getting ready to fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina. I can not tell you how excited I am to play here one more time. We are going to be filming this show as some of you may know, and visiting a lot of the city's sights and sounds.
"Tonight we are going to by far the best steakhouse in the world. My personal favorite — Happenings! And I have asked Glen [Drover, guitar] if he wants to go for a walk with me tomorrow or the next day to play some songs in the park outside our hotel. So if you see two Gringos with guitars singing heavy songs on acoustic (hehehe) you will know it is us.
"To all the beautiful people of Chile, I am glad I got to see you all once again. You are fabulous and we love you all."

Weren't they supposed to announce whether Megadeth will continue or not? Although I am not so sure I really care anymore. Dave...Dave...Dave...you have continued to make it harder and harder to enjoy Megadeth...not because the music has tapered off...but because you have gone off the deep end...and when I pay money for a CD I want to know what kind of person it is going to...you are now on my list entitled "Questionable." That being said, enjoy Chile...it is a beautiful country with a beautiful people and culture.

DAVE MUSTAINE makes his announcement after a special version of "Coming Home" to the Argentinian crowd at the sold out show in Buenos Aires.
"I told you earlier tonight that I was gonna let all of you know first before the rest of the world what our decision was - whether or not we were gonna continue with MEGADETH or not," MUSTAINE said before playing a special rendition of "Coming Home", with the song's lyrics changed from the original "I'm coming home to Arizona" to "I'm coming home to Argentina." Immediately after the song, MUSTAINE said "The answer is yes."
MEGADETH will continue as a band. MEGADETH will record a new album. MEGADETH will continue to play.

What did you want, the secrets of the universe? Or how about a "Luke, I'm your father" type of scene? To hear that Megadeth will continue and cut a new album is pretty
d a m n exciting to most metalheads. I like Dave's "cut to the chase" style without a bunch of flowery words.
