A brand new music video for Heartsick’s latest track, “Break The Curse,” premiered online streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below. The Michigan-based band, known for their self-described ‘darknucore’ sound, recorded the song with producer Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, King 810). The accompanying video was directed by Waylon Fox.

A press release described the track as follows:

‘An aggressive and heavy response to the current climate of the music industry where independent bands are finding it harder and harder to get past an algorithm and past the would-be gatekeepers in the industry. The song is a statement on being successful in gaining small wins but still failing to garner the support of those in the industry that hold the keys to larger opportunities.’

Heartsick‘s live schedule at the moment is set to unfold as follows:

05/31 Braidwood, IL – Top Fuel Saloon
06/14 Ann Arbor, MI – The Blind Pig
06/20 Syracuse, NY – The Jugg
