Face Yourself Premiere New Single & Music Video "Predatory" From Upcoming New EP"Martyr"

Face Yourself, one of the latest signings to Sumerian Records, have unveiled a new video for their latest single, “Predatory”. The deathcore outfit is preparing to drop their upcoming EP, “Martyr”, on April 18th via the label.
Drummer Eric DiCarlo took on directorial duties for the video, having previously worked on visuals for Signs Of The Swarm, The Browning, and more.
Regarding the song’s lyrical themes, the band shared the following:
“Face Yourself is proud to release our newest single ‘Predatory‘, alongside the announcement of our new EP ‘Martyr‘ via Sumerian Records. ‘Predatory‘ is based on a modern story with some metaphoric images. It’s about going to a dance with a stranger and quickly finding yourself in a dangerous situation.
‘Martyr‘ explores struggles through difficult mental health battles. The lyrical content on the EP is based on vulnerability, and confronting your own demons. The record flirts between standing up for yourself, but also getting back to this dark place, as no one has a perfect linear mental health. Sometimes it takes a few trials to heal old wounds. With our producer Joey Sturgis, we tried to translate the theme through the impacts, melodies, vocals, making those emotions loud.”
As previously noted, Face Yourself collaborated with renowned producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, Of Mice & Men) on this latest release, ensuring a powerful and polished sound for “Martyr”:
“Martyr” track-list:
01 – “Primal”
02 – “Predatory”
03 – “The Poet”
04 – “Saboteur”
05 – “Sideration”
