Dawn Of Ouroboros Premiere New Single & Music Video "Slipping Burgundy"

Dawn Of Ouroboros' latest track, "Slipping Burgundy," has surfaced online as the second single from the blackened progressive metal band's upcoming third studio album, Bioluminescence. Set for release on March 07th via Prosthetic Records, the album is accompanied by a music video once again helmed by Karl Whinnery (Vintersea, etc.). Both the song and its visuals serve as a tribute to the late visionary filmmaker David Lynch, who passed away last month.

Guitarist Tony Thomas shared his thoughts on the video:

“The surrealism and dark moodiness of David Lynch films has long been a influence on our music both sonically and visually. Slipping Burgundy was heavily inspired by the Black Lodge from Twin Peaks. Both in its mood and the look of the video we created.”

Tells frontwoman Chelsea Murphy:

“The rich, deep hue of burgundy envelops the senses, evoking a sense of warmth and intimacy that ignites passion. In its lush embrace, one can find a profound release, where desires intertwine and the boundaries of pleasure dissolve.

In addition we would like to add that David Lynch developed chaotic, beautiful and endlessly creative realms that have served as a personal refuge to explore for decades. We are endlessly thankful to him and his contributions to the world and influence on our art. We proudly dedicate this single in his honor, the video serves as a visual representation of our appreciation of him.”
