Russian dark metal band Koppernigk have teamed up with Metalundergound.com to exclusively premiere their new single "Cognize", taken from their impending debut album "Create", which will be co-released by Satanath Records (Georgia) and Australis Records (Chile) on April 15th, 2024.

KOPPERNIGK's debut album opens up to listeners a picture of a cold, withering wasteland. Each song is a philosophical reflection which touches upon one of the biggest life problems (loneliness, loss, madness, blind faith, environmental disasters). Goal is to create vivid and ominous images that will make the listener think and become a little more considerate to the world and the people who inhabit it. After all, everything that surrounds us, our whole life can be seen as a complex and incomprehensible system, where we sometimes lose the guiding light and we are left alone in the unknown; and without anyone's compassionate understanding, we risk plunging into a true forlorn darkness.
