Witch Vomit Premiere New Single "Blood Of Abomination" From Upcoming New Album "Funeral Sanctum"
Witch Vomit returns after five years with their latest record, and it offers a slightly more melodic approach than fans might anticipate. Titled "Funeral Sanctum," the album is set for release on April 5. The lead single from it "Blood Of Abomination," has just premiered online streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below.
"Funeral Sanctum" was recorded and mixed in November 2023 by Evan Mersky at Red Lantern Studios (known for work with Nightfell, Mournful Congregation, Triumvir Foul). It was mastered by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound Studio (recognized for projects with Leviathan, Gehenna, Cerebral Rot). The album is complemented with cover art by Matt Stikker (credited for artwork with Power Trip, Outer Heaven, Exhumed).
Witch Vomit has unveiled their Funeral Sanctum Tour 2024, coinciding with their performances at Austin Death Fest. The tour will feature Phobophilic on several dates, with Mortal Wound joining for shows in California and Arizona. Here are the tour dates:
