Brodequin Premiere New Single "Suffocation In Ash" From Upcoming New Album "Harbinger Of Woe"
Brodequin, after a 20-year hiatus, returns with a new record titled "Harbinger Of Woe," set to release on March 22nd. The band is currently streaming their devastating new track "Suffocation In Ash," which blends driving death metal with slamming brutality, promising a destructive experience for listeners.
Explains Brodequin bassist and vocalist Jamie Bailey:
"I sought to shed light on an execution method rooted in antiquity. This specific technique often escapes the attention of those intrigued by these kinds of historical practices. Lyrically, my aim was to transport the listener into the vivid depiction of the scene I attempt to portray."
He added: "Basically, the victim, who's held in a tower that's specifically designed for this sort of thing, is immersed in ash."
