EMI & Century Media Ink Distribution Deal

According to Hollywood Reporter, EMI Music on Friday said it has expanded its U.S. deal with Century Media in an exclusive international licensing and distribution agreement with the U.K.- and Germany-based independent label, which has an extensive roster of hard rock and metal acts. Century's product has been distributed in the U.S. by EMI's Caroline Distribution since 1997, and the music major will now distribute it throughout the U.K. and Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The first album due under the new arrangement is Seattle band NEVERMORE's new album "This Godless Endeavor." Other Century Media acts include ARCH ENEMY, LACUNA COIL, NAPALM DEATH, and others. No financial details were disclosed.
