New Album "A Game You Cannot Win" Announced By Heretic

Legendary Los Angeles power thrashers Heretic return with the first album in 5 years! Heretic has just completed recording the forthcoming release entitled “A Game You Can Not Win” with a release date of October 27th via Dissonance Productions. Pre-order the album at this location.

Heretic was born during the early 80's Metal scene in Southern California and was one of the top acts in the L.A. area. This drew the attention of Metal Blade Records who went on to sign the act. The band was the first featured on the Metal Massacre 7 compilation. Later the group released the EP "Torture Knows No Boundary," and the full length LP "Breaking Point." After the release of "Breaking Point," the band split up when then lead singer Mike Howe joined Metal Church.

Instead of continuing on guitarist Brian Korban, and bassist Dennis Ohara went on to form the band Reverend with former Metal Church singer David Wayne. Flash forward 20+ years, Heretic is back with the Classic Metal/Thrash sound. The band released "A Time Of Crisis" on Metal On Metal Records in 2012, the first release in over 2 decades. 5 years on....The Heretic Has Returned!
