MESHUGGAH have reportedly re-signed with Nuclear Blast Records. The group's new studio album, "Catch 33" (the band's final CD under their previous contract), is scheduled for release in the U.S. on May 31 via Nuclear Blast. The follow-up to 2002's "Nothing" is being described as one continuous 47-minute song divided into 13 parts and is said to be "musically the opposite" of the group's 2004 EP, "I".

In other news, MESHUGGAH drummer Tomas Haake placed third in the "Best Metal Drummer" category in the 2005 Modern Drummer magazine Readers' Poll (the top spot went to SHADOWS FALL's Jason Bittner).

MESHUGGAH have hinted in recent interviews that they may embark on a U.S. tour in the fall. At press time, no American dates have yet been announced.
