Details Of New Album "Terraforming" Posted By Jupiterian
Brazilian act Jupiterian has reemerged with its unique brand of atmospheric sludge/doom metal. The new album "Terraforming" is set for release on November 15th via Transcending Obscurity Records. A preview clip for the album is available at the bottom.
"Terraforming" was recorded at Duna Studios and was mixed by Maurice de Jong (Gnaw Their Tongues) and mastered by Stephen Lockheart (Svartidaudi, Tchornobog, Zhrine). The album artwork was painted by Caue Piloto.
Haunting both musically and aesthetically, Jupiterian delves into subtler, more visceral sounds while retaining their crushing style. Like the dichotomy in the band's home country, the music too encompasses the stark contrast between the intense and atmospheric bits, sometimes transmuting into a dark ambient form aided by Maurice de Jong of Gnaw Their Tongues. The die has been cast!
The track listing is:
1. Matriarch
2. Unearthly Glow
3. Forefathers
4. Terraforming (Feat. Maurice de Jong)
5. Us and Them
6. Sol
