Pretty good! I like the china, even if he does use it a little too often.

The song is good and the playing is OK, though the sound of the toms comes across as dull to my ears. But, the bass drum is my biggest gripe. Just a pet peeve of mine when drummers who trigger pack the bass drum full of blankets. Leaving the head loose doesn't help either. There is no acoustic sound coming out of that, so he might as well have used a trigger pad. Just another thing to go wrong live. The impact pad was pretty pointless as well. Align the placement with the beaters before you stick it on there. OK, I'll get off my whiny soapbox now. lmao

Nah, DJ, you're right. His overall sound is very thin. The kick certainly contributes to that, and not in a good way. The pad's placement bugged me too, haha. I thought he played some interesting stuff though, there's some fresh ideas in there.

Glad I wasn't the only one irked by the pad placement, haha. I did like his cymbal work.
