upstate New York's GIZMACHI have now officially filled one of the "mystery band" slots on the second stage of this year's Ozzfest.
GIZMACHI will release their debut CD, "The Imbuing", on May 3 on Big Orange Clown Records, an imprint of Sanctuary Records. "The Imbuing" was produced by SLIPKNOT's M. Shawn Crahan (who also founded Big Orange Clown Records), engineered by Josh Wilbur and recorded at Spin Studios in New York City. GIZMACHI is comprised of Sean Kane on vocals, Jay Hannon and Mike Laurino on guitars, Kris Gilmore on bass and Jimmie Hatcher on drums.
The band filmed the video for their first single, "The Answer", in February in New York. The video was directed by Crahan and produced by Doug Spangenberg (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, LAMB OF GOD, EVERY TIME I DIE).

Let me tell you something Count Korntard. Iron Maiden is not hurting for any kind of
money and when they are still selling out Soccer stadiums around the world they aren't
exactly washed up either. I see young teens still wearing thier shirts! Gizmachi
ought to be pretty cool.

I saw Gizmachi on the Subliminal tour, there weren't that good. I think they played 2, that's right, 2 songs. One lasted like 10 minutes. It was boring as hell. I think Ozzfest should have kept the line-up the way it was. I'd rather see sets that last longer than 4 songs than to see more sh**ty bands.

no velvet revolver does not kick ass. They do not belong in a tour such as ozzfest and does not live up to any metal head i knows expectations. What happened to good line ups. Why must they pollute our breathing air with such bands as velvet revolver. They dont even deserve to set foot on the same stage as Ozzy or even any of the other main stage bands. Unfortuneately i will miss Maiden and to the f***ing poser f***er up in the list...lick my balls and get a$$ f***ed you f***ing poser. Velvet revolver will perhaps give me some time to take a nice bathroom break or f*** some drunk b**** on the lawn. This Ozzfest will not live up to its name but it should still be quite a good show.

I'm with Tom. None of these bands could compare to Van Halen. None of the bands above could ever be as good as Ed V. Van Halen, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Preist, The Cauze, Journey and more like these should be in the line up. Way more talent and less gimmicks. The 80's rocked!!
