Details Of New Album "Metamorphosis" Issued By Montage
Montage - the five-piece melodic hard rock group from Helsinki - announced the new release "Metamorphosis." The album is set to drop on November 25th via Fastball Music. The style could be described as classic hard rock with a progressive edge. Check out the video clip for the new song "Age of Innocence" in the player below.
"Metamorphosis" features 9 eclectic rock songs with a wide range of influences. The album begins with three upbeat rock anthems: "Age Of Innocence", "Metamorphosis" and "Nature's Child". The band's love for 1970's prog rock can be heard in the following tracks "Black Magic", "Haunted" and "Invisible World", which are followed by two guitar-driven hard rock numbers, "Death Valley" and "Reptiles". The album closes with an atmospheric acoustic song, "Carved In Stone".
Montage was formed in 2011 and released a debut album via Secret Entertainment in May 2014 and supported the album release with several gigs in Finland, Netherlands, Estonia and Russia. In early 2015, vocalist Mikko Heino departed the group and was replaced by Vesa Paavonen. Soon after Vesa joined the group Montage started writing and recording their second full-length album, "Metamorphosis." The recordings of the album took place in July 2015 at Helsinki's Taajuusvarjostin studios and was mixed in the spring of 2016.
