Debut EP "Crucified Dreams" To Be Released By Windshades
"Crucified Dreams," the debut EP by young Italian metal band Windshades, will be released in collaboration with Atomic Stuff Promotion. The EP will be issued in digital format in November with further details will be unveiled soon.
Windshades was founded in May 2015 by singer Chiara Manzoli and drummer Carlo Bergamaschi, two musicians with opposite but complementary features: Chiara, an opera soprano with choral and theatrical experiences and Carlo, an essentially punk/hardcore drummer. The line-up was completed by guitarist and composer Matteo Usberti, responsible for the composition of the first set of original songs and the band's aggressive sound.
In July 2015, bass player Andrea Bissolati and second guitarist Michele Capelli joined the band. Andrea, a nu-metal, jazz and funky enthusiast, adds his creativity to the band's sound. Capelli left the band to pursue education and he was replaced by Riccardo Soresina, an expert guitarist with a solid live experience. Soresina definitively marks the band's sound with sharp riffs that strengthen each song. With a stabilized line-up, the band began to play live gigs, which garnered positive feedback. In May 2016, Windshades entered Atomic Stuff Recording Studio in Isorella, Italy) to record the "Crucified Dreams" EP under producer Oscar Burato's supervision.
