There was already some other band named Cynder, I believe, so they changed to Cyn. I hope they make it out to Maryland/DC/NoVA.

Sorry to sh** on your parade, but have any of you guys actually seen A Dozen Furies?
I saw them a few weeks ago at Redrum in Austin. They were f***ing terrible.
I can't for the life of me understand why bands that bad are getting MTV sponsorship,
and a tour while so many great metal bands go completely overlooked.
Well, I guess I just answered my own question. Anything MTV is involved in is just
manufactured f***ing garbage, and anyone who buys into their crap apparently
can't decide for themselves what's good. They have to be told what's cool so they can
fit in with all the trends. So many of these new bands don't even know what metal is.
It was never meant to be pop music, and I'm sick of MTV ruining everything that's good!

the reason cyn changed their name is because there is a pretty good metal band already called "Cinder" they are spelled differently but still are the same name. anyways, cyn shoulda won the battle for ozzfest. they are a much better band, believe me, i should know
