Nightwish Sweep Five Emma-Gaala Awards

Nightwish won five prizes at at the Emma-Gaala (Finnish Grammy Awards-equivalent), which were held Saturday, Feb. 26 at Kulttuuritalolla in Helsinki. According to a posting on the group's web site, the outfit took home the awards for:
- Finland Metal Album Of The Year (for "Once")
- Best Selling Album
- Band Of The Year
- Export-Emma
- Best Finnish Artist (as voted by the public).
"Once" has already been certified triple-platinum in Nightwish's native Finland for sales in excess of 90,000 copies. The follow-up to 2002's "Century Child", "Once" was previously certified platinum in Germany for sales in excess of 200,000 copies.
