Moonsorrow Crowd Funding New Documentary

"Home of the Wind, a History of Moonsorrow" is the title of an upcoming documentary about the 20-year long career of Finnish pagan metal heroes, Moonsorrow.

The doc is a true labor of love, produced by independent filmmakers Leo Aragón as director and Abel Grilo do Demo (author of The Unofficial Moonsorrow Biography) as scriptwriter.

The duo has the complete support of the band, which is currently doing a crowd-funding campaign to raise the rest of the funds needed to complete the project. So far, Moonsorrow has raised 50% of the campaign's goal, but still needs a little push to reach goal before the campaign ends on June 11th, 2016.

"It's been more than a year working day by day and I can't believe how close we are to make this real," says Aragón.

"We would like to count on you [the fans] for everything you can give us a hand with," Grilo adds. Together, they are determined to make the best film possible about Moonsorrow's musical legacy. They're also planning to take the final product around the world to festivals, especial screenings and more.

The fund-raising campaign offers all kind of perks, from digital copies of the documentary to rare band-signed items. Those interested can check "Home Of The Wind" official Indiegogo campaign and the official Facebook .
