Gloomy Grim Premieres New Song "A Lady In White" From Upcoming New Album "The Age of Aquarius"
Finnish black metal quintet Gloomy Grim has shared another new song from forthcoming full-length "The Age of Aquarius" which is the band's first full release in over eight years.
The new track is titled "A Lady In White" and can be heard below. "The Age of Aquarius" is set to drop on June 6th via Satanath Records/MurdHer Records.
States vocalist Agathon about the new song:
"The lyrics of the song are based on true events which I experienced while living in an old house in the middle of the forest and where an old lady had died. This song was made by writing the lyrics before the music and on an “old GG”-style by composing on keyboard and later to work on the guitars. It was almost left in the drawer since I had no idea what the guitars should play. But as I gave the guitarists a chance to check it out for what to play, they composed their parts quite fast. Especially Micko Hell’s nylon-string solo gave me the shivers on my spine, and the despair of the Lady Dressed in White can be sensed in it. The song itself represents the old style Gloomy Grim at its best. This is also one of the first songs I composed for the new album."
