Artwork For New Album "Doomsday Rituals" Revealed By Centinex
Swedish reformed death metal act Centinex is right in the middle of the recording process of the new full-length album and follow-up to 2014's "Redeeming Filth." Surprisingly reunited in 2014 after a nearly eight-year hiatus, the band didn't want to keep fans waiting another near-decade. The new album will be entitled "Doomsday Rituals" and today the band reveals the cover artwork, created by Bahrull Marta of Abomination Imagery.
"Doomsday Rituals" is being currently recorded at Wing Studios with Centinex's guitarist (and Demonical's vocalist in one), Sverker Widgren. As commented by the band's founder and mastermind, Martin Schulman: "Musically the album is a natural follow-up to "Redeeming Filth". Heavy riffing, deep brutal vocals, everything from slow via mid-tempo to faster stuff, a perfect mix of the early 90's Florida and Stockholm sound".
While working on new live shows, Centinex has also revealed the following confirmed festival appearences in Europe and North America:
27.05 2016 USA - Baltimore - Maryland Deathfest
02.07 2016 ESP - Barcelona - Move Your Fucking Brain Extreme Fest
09.07 2016 AT - Scharnstein (Bäckerberg) - Sick Midsummer Fest
18.08 2016 GER - Barth - Barther Metal Open Air
29.10 2016 FIN - Turku - Turun Kuolema II Festival (headlining w. Angelcorpse)
