Carcass frontman/bassist Jeff Walker broke the proximal fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot prior to the band's March 19 concert in Seattle, Washington as the support act for Slayer and Testament. States the band via Facebook: "Sorry for Walker's lacklustre performance in Seattle last night....here's the reason why! Talk about "break a leg".....just a poor man's Dave Grohl!!!!! OUCH!!!!!"

Walker has received medical treatment for his injury.

The Carcass frontman is expected to complete the tour, which will wrap on March 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
