Suicidal Tendencies has announced that former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo will be playing drums during the band's upcoming tour with Megadeth, Children Of Bodom and Havok.

States the band: "SxTx is beyond excited to announce the legendary Dave Lombardo will be playing drums for Suicidal on the upcoming Megadeth tour! You know what that means....it's gonna be CYCO and BRUTAL!!!"

That will be interesting. I've never heard Dave play with a funk beat. Jazz/latin yes, but the groove's in ST's catalog are not what I would consider within Dave's comfort zone. Still, Dave is more than a one dimensional talent and proven by Grip and Fantamos, so maybe it will work out really well.
