70000 Tons of Metal - The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise

"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Cleveland Bands Perform For College Radio Benefit

Five of Cleveland's top metal bands performed a concert on Monday, February 7 to benefit college radio station WJCU. The bands performing are: SOULLESS (Cleveland's undisputed death metal kings!), DESTRUCTOR ('80s power/thrash metal underground legends), ABDULLAH (stoner Doom Metal), AMPS II ELEVEN (MOTÖRHEAD meets the MC5 - revved-up rust belt rumble) and BLACK TRINITY (unholy Norwegian-style black metal). The concert will take place at Cleveland's newest club, the House of Blues. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to WJCU to help fund a recently approved power increase.

Cleveland is fortunate enough to be home to four powerful college radio stations - WJCU (John Carroll University), WCSB (Cleveland State University), WRUW (Case Western Reserve University) and WBWC (Baldwin Wallace College). The stations all work together to offer a steady weekly dose of heavy metal programming both online and to the Northeast Ohio listening audience. Cleveland's college radio scene is well-known throughout the music industry as being the best in the country.

Well, this would've been nice if it was on time. But we did give the House of Blues a healthy dose of Old School Black Metal!! \m/
