Shumaun Premieres Pre-Release Full-Album Stream Of Self-Titled New Full-Length

Progressive metal/hard rockers of Shumaun premiere their self-titled new full-length album, a few days ahead of its official release, coming Friday November 13th.

You can now check out the full-album stream of "Shumaun" below.

Says frontman Farhad Hossain of the new album:

"This was a difficult album to make, not so much from a writing standpoint, but from an ‘everything else’ kind of standpoint. We had a keyboardist leave while in the midst of recording, drummers coming in and out, injuries, and general life changes that really impacted the whole recording process. The first incarnation of this record was not hard rock at all. You could say it related more to bands like The Shins, and The Killers than to Rush. All of the frustrations that we dealt with in that early incarnation of the band made me scrap everything and start all over from scratch, with new songs and a direction that borrowed more from my hard rock and metal influences. It feels great to finally release it to the world. We are really proud of the record and hope that people can really connect with it."
