New Album Recordings Begin In November For Shadowquest
Sweden's Shadowquest - featuring Masterplan's Jari Kainulainen, Witherscape's Ragnar Widerberg and Bloodbound's Patrik Johansson among its ranks - will enter the studio to begin drum recordings for the band's upcoming sophomore studio album, which is expected for summer 2016. The album is the follow up to the debut "Armoured IV Pain," which was issued independently earlier this year (see review here).
The news broke on the band's Facebook page, which reads: "As November leads the way into darkness and winter… We will start to record the drums for our second album!! We have a new set of really incredibly great songs that we want to share with you all!
"Like our first album, this one will be produced by Jens Bogren (Dragonforce, Angra, Amon Amarth) and [drummer] Ronny Milianowicz (Issa, Wolf, Carnal Agony). Mixing magic will be wielded by Ronny Milianowicz, and the final touch and mastering will be done by Jens Bogren. The time for mixing is set to early summer 2016.
"More details will follow soon!"
Progress reports on the recording process are expected soon.
