I remember when these guys were starting out. Never made a flop record but I'm still waiting for their masterpiece. They have it in them too, the drummer is stellar, and Chino Morenos vocals and lyrics are equal parts sincere and confrontational. High emotion without being melodramtic....a rare thing. The new record is supposed to be furious, as guitarist Stef Carpenter is helming this outing. As opposed to Chinos masterminding White Pony and a their joint outing with 2003s self title album. Expecting good things with this record.

thats where you're wrong. while i fully recognize and respect the bands talent their staple is def. not their lyrics. chino's lyrics are pretty sub par compared to other artists who like to let the listener interpret the meanings
