Dutch folk/viking metal act Heidevolk has returned with the new music video and single "Winter Woede," the opening track of the new album "Velua," which drops via Napalm Records on the following release schedule:

March 20th: GAS/BENELUX
March 30th: UK/NO/FR/DK/IT
April 1st: SE/ESP
April 7th: USA/CAN

The Veluwe – the mythical and utterly beautiful woodlands in the Netherlands – is the setting for Heidevolk's fifth album "Velua." Using this as a backdrop, the Dutch metal act paints a dark picture of ghosts, goblins and brigands in order to raise a monument: anthemic folk parts, clean male vocals and gritty metal provide the perfect soundtrack for the listener's journey to the sylvan halls of Velua!

The album and video mark the debut of the band's newest members Kevin Vruchtbaert on guitar and Lars Vogel on vocals. The track list for the album is:

1. Winter Woede
2. Herboren in Vlammen
3. Urth
4. De hallen van Mijn Vaderen
5. De Vervloekte Jacht
6. Het Dwalende Licht
7. Drankgelag
8. Velua
9. Een Met de Storm
10. Richting de Wievenbelter
11. In Het Diepst der Nacht
12. Vinland

Limited/Deluxe Box Edition Bonus Tracks:

13. Immigrant song (Led Zeppelin Cover)
14. In the Dutch Mountains (The Nits Cover)
15. Rebel Yell (Billy Idol Cover)

The only thing I hate about Heidevolk is that I will never get to see them live :-)
