"some music was meant to stay underground..."

New Album Recordings Started By Powerwolf

Since January 4th, the werewolves of Germany's Powerwolf have entrenched themselves in the studio to record the upcoming 6th studio album, and follow up to 2013's "Preachers of the Night" (see review here), which is expected to be released in summer 2015.

"Roel has started tracking drums yesterday and is currently outdoing himself in energy and speed. Already now the drum tracks sound amazing" reports guitarist Matthew Greywolf. "We'll probably spend the rest of the week celebrating our Dutch drum-demon, before we start with the guitars recordings."

Stay tuned for more updates.

Please please please do something different for this album. No doubt it will have that Powerwolf signature sound, but a change in the formula is definitely needed.

THE LAST ALBUM WENT #1 IN THEIR NATIVE GERMANY. I'M THINKING THEY WANT TO REPLICATE THE PROCESS.
