Delirious Confirmed For Dong Open Air Fest
German thrash metal act Delirious is the first band confirmed for the 2005 edition of Dong Open Air festival, set to take place July 15-16 in Neukirchen-Vluyn, near Krefeld, Germany.
Delirious were booked as one of the co-headliners of this year's Dong Open Air but had to withdraw from the event due to a thunderstorm hitting the festival area on the Dong hill. Photos from Dong Open Air 2004 can be viewed at this location.
The Dong crew is still looking for high quality "underground" metal, rock and folk bands from Germany and neighboring countries (France, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, etc.) to play next year's festival. Information on how to apply is available here.
