Optic Keyboardist Tapped By Shadowstrike For DeLand Rock & Metal Festival

New York power metal act Shadowstrike announced that the band has tapped Optic keyboardist Ryan Patane for the upcoming opening night performance at the upcoming Metal Underground.com sponsored DeLand Rock & Metal Festival, which takes place from November 7-9, 2014 at OB's Restaurant & Lounge located at 1750 North Woodland Blvd in DeLand, Florida. Information on the festival and where to purchase tickets, head on over to this location. Shadowstrike released its debut EP "Infinite Power" earlier this year. Long Island's Optic released its debut album "Iris In" in 2013.

Patane commented on the upcoming performance: "I'm very psyched to be joining ShadowStrike on this festival! For a long time, power metal has had a dedicated spot on my long list of musical interests and it certainly shows in my keyboard playing from time to time. I'm pumped that ShadowStrike invited me to join them on this epic endeavor and I hope everyone is excited to see us perform! Cheers and May The Force....well, you know the rest..."

Shadowstrike's Matt Krais stated: "This is something we are very excited about and will remember for a long time. We are good friends with the the guys in Optic, and we love their music and especially Ryan's style of playing. Rehearsals have begun, and this is one ShadowStrike experience you do not want to miss!"
