Former Fleshold Guitarist Joins A Thousand Ashes

Former Fleshold guitarist Don Byczynski has joined Chicago death metal band A Thousand Ashes as their new bass player. Byczynski, who's death metal band Fleshold recorded their Massacre Records debut "Pathetic" over 12 years ago has been working as a studio engineer at his personally owned BOTA Studio. "I finally got the itch to play again" Byczynski stated, "I really like the direction of [A Thousand Ashes] and I cannot wait to start playing out again!" A Thousand Ashes recently recorded their 5 song debut EP at BOTA studio earlier this summer. The entire EP is now streaming on the band's YouTube page.

A Thousand Ashes Posts New Songs Online

Up and coming Chicago metal band A Thousand Ashes recently released their debut EP, titled “Indwelling.” The five song CD was recorded and engineered at BOTA Studio in Lake in the Hills, Illinois by Ex- Fleshold guitarist Don Byczynski. The album was mastered by legendary death metal guitarist James Murphy. The band currently is streaming two songs, “Of Pain and Virtue” and “Fallen Angels” on their MySpace page.
