Aborted & Entombed A.D. European Tour Announced
Aborted & Entombed A.D. will be co-headlining this year’s ‘Hell Over Europe III Tour‘ this fall with Baest joining them as opening act. Entombed A.D. and Baest will be touring on new releases:
Entombed A.D.‘s “Bowels Of Earth” is due out on August 30th and Baest‘s “Venenum” is scheduled for release on September 13th.

Aborted: Guitarist Mendel bij de Leij Leaves Band
Aborted guitarist Mendel bij de Leij announces his exit from the band, issuing the following statement this weekend:
“Man, where do I begin? I guess I’ll cut right to the chase: After almost 7 years of what has been one of the best experiences of my life, we mutually have come to the agreement that this is the point where Aborted ends for me.
After my father passed away last year my focus started to slowly shift on different levels whereas the others were dedicated and motivated to make Aborted dominate, and believe me: they will, and I’m extremely proud of them.
I remember I started listening to Aborted back in 2004, becoming a fan boy and I’ll never forget the moment Sven asked me to join 8 years later; truly a moment I still embrace to this day.
Of course I will miss my brothers, I love them; I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them. I couldn’t have wished for any better group of idiots, not a chance!
For now I will focus on my solo project “Mendel”, my job (being a mixing/mastering engineer) and other musical endeavors.
And the following is a cliché perhaps, but truly: All the fans around the world and all those who’ve supported us, you guys fucking rule from the bottom of my heart.
Now if you guys don’t support my boys on their upcoming tour and future plans: I’ll get Chuck Norris to roundhouse kick all of you.

Aborted Posts New Music Video Online
Belgian death metal veterans Aborted has posted a new music video online for the song, "Deep Red." You can check it out below. The song comes from the band's latest album, "Terrorvision," which was released last year through Century Media Record.
Sven De Caluwe comments: "Since Hell over Europe was such a good time we decided to bring the line up as complete as possible to North America where we will spread the TerrorVision for the first time. We are beyond stoked to be touring again with our good friends in Cryptopsy and Benighted, as well to have Stefano suffer through two sets a day. So you can come on over, enjoy some blastbeats, place your bets on how many kg's or pounds Stefano will weigh at the end, and come have a chat with us all. On top of that we brutalised the fine people from Panda Productions once more for the 3rd video for TerrorVision, this time for the lovely chanson d'amour called Deep Red. This rattling tale of romance enfolds in fields adorned with unicorns and many more politically correct settings. Benighted Added To Aborted & Cryptopsy Tour
Benighted and Hideous Divinity have been confirmed as the support acts for Aborted and Cryptopsy‘s forthcoming North American tour, which will run from March 21st to April 21st with more dates still pending.
Dimmu Borgir, Godflesh added to Brutal Assault '19
In an announcement sure to please black metal fans, Brutal Assault Festival reveals that Dimmu Borgir will be taking to the stage at Fortress Josehov, Czech Republic. Industrial pioneers Godflesh have also been added to the bill - they last played the festival in 2015.
More bands revealed in this update include legendary thrash bands Anthrax and Sacred Reich. Iron Reagan, Prong, The Ocean, Thy Art is Murder, After The Burial and The Obsessed are just some of the other names.
Unfortunately A Pale Horse Named Death, who were previously announced, will be unable to perform.
Brutal Assault 2019 will take place at Fortress Josehov in the Czech Republic, August 7-9.

Brutal Assault Festival Band Upddate Announced
Brutal Assault Festival announces another band update for its upcoming 2019 edition. Tells the festival promotion agency:

Over seven years, deathlike silence has filled the halls of the world’s biggest black metal forge, whilst powers have been gathering to resurrect the band right in time for their 25th anniversary. Wicked aural filth comes from the islands with GODFLESH, who are highly regarded as one of the pioneers of industrial metal; they took industrial to the next level with their fuse of heavy guitars and mixing it with slow drum loops and effects and their unique approach has spawned several musical styles since their conception.

Belgian death metal/grindcore veterans Aborted has posted a new music video online for the song "Vespertine Decay." You can check it out below. The song comes from the band's upcoming album, "TerrorVision," which is set to be released on September 21st through Century Media. It's also the second song from the album to receive the music video treatment following, "Squalor Valor."

"We have some exciting news to share with you all - as many of you know, we entered the studio to start the recording of our new studio album which will be called “TerrorVision”. Expect nothing less than brutal death metal on the highest level, enriched by the dark melodic twist of our latest EP, “Bathos”. “TerrorVision” is set to be released on September 21, 2018 via Century Media Records. Aborted will return to the death metal clubs of Europe in early November, joined by Cryptopsy, Benighted and Cytotoxin. Do not miss the brutal death metal package in autumn!

“So here we are, at it again. We just spent a little over two weeks recording the follow up to Retrogore, entitled TerrorVision at the mighty Kohlekeller Studios in Germany. Tracking is coming to its end, and it's been a record we poured a ton of work in over the last year or so. This is actually the first record we were able to do full pre-productions for and had Kohle involved in with since the beginning, and let me tell you, the result is there.
