Universum Reveals New Album Details
Australian melodic death metal band Universum has revealed the tracklisting and cover art to their new album "Mortuus Machina." The tracklisting for "Mortuus Machina" is as follows:

Solution .45 Announces Departure of Guitarist Jani
In a lengthy post to their MySpace Page, modern metal super group Solution .45 has announced that second guitarist Jani has decided to quit the band. The band and Jani have split on good terms, and Jani may even contribute some to Solution .45's next album. Jani will be replaced by Patrik Gardberg (Torchbearer, The Few Against Many, Ammotrack). "Hi all!
At the release of our debut album, "For Aeons Past", which we all have worked so very hard on, we have to deliver some sad news to you all. For personal reasons, Jani has decided to part ways with both SOLUTION .45 and MISERATION.

“For several years I have been working with many talented musicians and done many albums in a very short period of time. Music is my passion, but over the last year or so, I have felt that I want to focus more on quality time with friends and family. I do not intend to quit music, but at this point I feel that I am not ready to commit to these bands as much as would be necessary. I just feel that my personal life is striving for something else than the rest of the guys in Solution .45 and Miseration. There´s absolutely no bad blood between us and I do wish both bands great success, cause they are really good, with nothing but quality people in them. Us parting ways has consequently notning to do with musical- or personal differences, or anything like that for that matter. I just feel that this is not my place to be right now. I am very satisfied with the result of both the Solution .45 debut album and the latest one from Miseration and do feel that I can leave with my head held up high." More...

Solution .45 Parts Ways With Keyboardist
Swedish metal band Solution .45 has issued the following update:
"Good news and bad news. First the good: by now you've seen our brand new logo and our new band photos, taken by the great Olle Carlsson (Opeth, Katatonia, Dark Funeral, etc). We shot these in the freezing cold, in Stockholm, but it was worth it because they came out excellently. We also have a new logo. After much debate we decided that we wanted something more iconic than our original logo and this is the final result of that. We think it will look great against Pär Olofsson's artwork, which also came out great. Speaking of which, in time this temporary Myspace design will be replaced by a new one, based on the album layout." More...
