ex-Caligula Members Form New Band
Ryan Kennedy and Mike Burrows, formerly of Caligula, have started a new band called The Human Torch aka Totally Fucking Awesome. According to Kennedy, "the band sounds nothing like caligula, somewhat in the vein of DropDead/Skitsystem." DS Records will release a demo from the group this summer.

Caligula Call It Quits
Cleveland's Caligula have now broken up. The group released an album with United Edge Records last year, but were never able to get back on track following the departure of singer Ryan Kennedy last September. Kennedy and Caligula drummer Mike Burrows are currently working on a new project.
Caligula Loses Vocalist
The rumors regarding the departure of Caligula vocalist Ryan Kennedy are indeed true, as Kennedy and the group recently parted ways. Here's a statement from Kennedy:
"After almost 2 years with the band, I have been asked to leave the band due to some internal issues in the band. Over the 2 years in the band, it has always been a struggle of ups and downs, but mostly downs. I have parted ways with the band and wish them the best of luck in the future. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and the band when I was in it."
Kennedy has now started a new, yet-to-be-named project with Joe Spagnuolo (of Calamityproject.com noteriety).

Caligula Signs To United Edge Records
Cleveland, Ohio band Caligula has officially signed with United Edge Records. The group will enter Mars Studio in Cleveland this spring to record an EP. In the interim, click here to listen to one of the tracks from their demo.
