Devilinside Finish 10 Songs For New Album
Devilinside vocalist Shaun Scott has posted this update on the official Devilinside website:
"As of late, we have 10 songs written for the next album and man do they fuckin' SLAY! Fans of old are in for a real treat. The only way to classify it is thrashey stroner metal, with Dan Johnson tearin' his kit a new asshole. In other news, as some of you might know already, we were delt a certain hand from a certain company threating a lawsuit because our band name was an "infringment on there rights as a corporation". So due to the circumstances and new lineup, we have found a new name, which we will announce very soon. The proper steps will be taken as to the switching of websites, myspace and anywhere else you can find info about us. So thanks to all the Devilinside fans for the support and all the bands that we have became friends with for the endless love they show, you know who you are. It is getting to be crunch time, so keep this page in your favorites. Many exciting updates to come. Take care you all. Until next time - GET A JOB."

The Boston-based quintet Diecast are set to embark on a headlining U.S. tour alongside The Hoods and Winter Solstice immediately following their stint on the Heavyweights of Hardcore tour. The trek kicks off on Jan. 20th and runs through Feb. 10th. The group's highly acclaimed new album, "Tearing Down Your Blue Skies," is now available. A new video for the track "Rise and Oppose" will be shot by Kevin Leonard (Himsa, Walls of Jericho) on Jan. 19th and look for it to makes it debut in late Feb.
Diecast just wrapped up a highly successful run on the Radiotakeover.com tour alongside E-Town Concrete, Devilinside and Twelve Tribes. Jeremy Wooden (bass) checks in with the follow tour wrap-up:
We just got back from the Radiotakeover tour with E-town Concrete, Twelve Tribes and almost Devilinside. It was amazing and we had a blast with all the bands. It started off slow with smaller shows, but all the kids who went out made us all feel like we were playing in front of thousands of fans. A lot of kids came up to us after the set saying that they were a bit skeptical about our singer change and new material (mostly due to internet gossip) but after seeing us live said we were way better than we've ever been. Stand out shows on the tour were definitely, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York (Albany and NYC) and Pennsylvania (Allentown and Philly).
Thanks to the promoters (minus 2 or 3) who treated us very well, fed us, drank with us, etc. We'd also like to thank everyone who came out to interview us on the road. Except for the two shit-bags who decided to piss all over the sofa and our singers bag (your lucky I'm a pacifist now), you were all great to us. We also got a Monster energy drink sponsorship on the road, so that kept us nice and perky for the long drives.
Well, we are home to spend time with family and enjoy the holidays and then it's back on the road in January with legends Hatebreed and Agnostic Front. I've also been informed that Tony and Mike from Devilinside will be getting something new together so be on the lookout, those guys are amazing musicians and great guys. Have a great holiday and we'll see you on the road soon.

Devilinside Drop Off Of Current Tour
Minneapolis' Devilinside have officially dropped off the remainder of their current tour with Diecast, E-Town Concrete, and Twelve Tribes. Official sources cite "personal reasons" as the impetus behind their departure. According to the group's record label, the band still intends to tour with Suffocation in February.
Behemoth To Tour With Suffocation
Behemoth have been confirmed for the upcoming King Diamond/Nile/Black Dahlia Murder tour happening in April of 2005. The tour follows their January/February co headlining run with Suffocation. Here's what Nergal (guitars/vocals) had to say:
“Hey f(r)iends! We're touring Europe right now with Incantation and Krisuin in support of our brand new record, Demigod. The new songs have been sounding great live and we can't wait to play them for our U.S. fans! It seems we will be conquering North America a few times next year; I have just gotten the confirmation for the King Diamond/Nile tour. All I have to say is this is my dream line up! Playing before living legends such as the King and Nile is more than an honor! We hope to see you all soon! HORNS UP!”

Century Media Now Majority Owner of Now Or Never
The following is the press release on the Century Media Records website:
"The Century Family is proud to announce it’s joining forces with New Jersey-based label Now Or Never Records. This exciting collaboration will result in the Century Family, and its affiliated imprints, handling the manufacturing, marketing, and retail distribution of current and upcoming Now Or Never releases. This includes highly anticipated releases from DIECAST, DEVILINSIDE and THE POSTMAN SYNDROME.
Now Or Never has made a name for itself as more than just a typical hardcore label, but as a diverse operation showcasing a wide spectrum of aggressive styles, featuring acts like DIECAST, THE DILLENGER ESCAPE PLAN, BRAND NEW SIN, DEVILINSIDE, WORTHLESS UNITED, ALL ELSE FAILED and THE POSTMAN SYNDROME. Its artists have landed impressive tours that include SLAYER, MOTORHEAD, HATEBREED and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, among others, while being backed by a team of dedicated, energetic music lovers with quality distribution to aid in their already imminent impact on the music world. Now Or Never and the Century Family’s emphasis continues to focus on building up their artists in a “classic” artist development sense, a valued ethic that has been lacking throughout much of the music industry. It’s this ideal that has garnered much success with both labels’ diverse rosters and lasting relationships with their bands."
