Tombs To Play Heart Of Winter Fest
TOMBS will be heading down to Richmond, Virginia to play the Heart of Winter Fest, a DIY Doom/Black metal fest arranged by Elway from Bastard Sapling/Celebrity Murders. The festival takes place from December 18th through December 20th, 2008. You can get more information about the festival here.

Tombs Completes Work On New Album, Goes On Tour
TOMBS has completed work on their Relapse debut, "Winter Hours." TOMBS recorded "Winter Hours" at the Etching Tin Studios in Richmond, VA with engineer Ian Whalen. Advance song titles include "The Divide," "Gossamer," "The Great Silence," and "Filled With Secrets." Winter Hours will see a February 2009 release date.
Additionally, TOMBS kicks off their European tour tonight in Schweinfurt, Germany with a performance at the Trainspotting Fest alongside CAPSULE, ULTRA DOLPHINS, PULLING TEETH, and more. TOMBS will then embark on a string of headlining shows with support from PLANKS through the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, and more. Metal Blade/Lifeforce/Relapse CMJ Showcase
You can hang out with Metal Blade Records, Lifeforce Records, and Relapse Records at this year's CMJ to celebrate some of their most promising young bands including: This or the Apocalypse, Bison B.C., Left to Vanish, Tombs, and Psyopus. There will also be a raffle for a huge gift basket containing prizes from all three record labels.

Tombs Begins Recording New Album

Tombs Signs To Relapse Records
Relapse Records has announced the signing of Brooklyn, New York's Tombs. Tombs (Mike Hill – guitar / vocals, Justin Ennis – drums, Carson Daniel James – bass) is currently writing the follow-up album to their self-titled EP (Black Box Recordings / Level Plane). Tombs will record their new full-length and Relapse debut this August, which will see an early 2009 release. Audio samples taken from TOMBS self-titled release, as well as demo material from their forthcoming full-length, can be heard now via the band’s MySpace page.
Additionally, Tombs has announced a number of European tour dates for this Fall. These dates will include a performance at the Trainspotting Fest in Germany alongside Capsule, Ultra Dolphins, Pulling Teeth, and more.

Tombs To Play Live Performance On Jamnow.com
Tombs will be playing a live, streaming on the internet show in just moments today, Monday Jan. 7 at 9:00 PM Eastern Standard time. Several new songs will be played as well as material from the recent self-titled record that came out late in November. You can check out the live performance here.
Baroness Release US Tour Dates Online
BARONESS has kicked-off an Eastern U.S. tour in support of their first full-length and Relapse debut, Red Album. This Decibel Magazine sponsored tour began in the band's hometown of Savannah, GA on September 19 and is currently working its way through the Central Eastern states and along the East Coast.
BARONESS has posted a second preview track, "Wanderlust", from Red Album. "Wanderlust" can be heard now via the band's MySpace page.

Level Plane Records to Release Tombs Debut
Level Plane Records has announced plans to release the debut EP/CD from New York's Tombs. The group features Mike Hill, of Anodyne and Versoma, on guitar/vocals, in addition to Justin Ennis (The Heuristic) on drums and Dominic Seita (Speedloader) on bass. Tentatively titled "Wasteland," the seven-song EP will surface late this fall. In the meantime you can check out the band here.
