According to Deathwish, "Together, Deathwish and Malfunction are now one label family. Effective immediately, Deathwish will take over day to day operations of the label. We will continue to operate Malfunction with the same love and dedication that Linas and Tru gave to the label since its inception. Ex-Thumbscrew Members Form Poacher

Members of former Texas hardcore bands Thumbscrew, 25 Dollar Massacre and Bitter End have started a new band called Poacher.

According to the band, "In the past year most of the bands have either called it quits or have chosen to remain on hiatus. Other members of these memorable bands have joined other bands or went on with their future endeavors. With members from Thumbscrew (Poopie and Drew), vocalist of 25 Dollar Massacre (Chris) and former Bitter End bassist (Keith), this should prove to be something new and unique."

Poacher will be hitting the studio in late may and will have a label announcement following immediatly afterward.

In the meantime, you can check out a few tracks at the band's MySpace.
