Hour Of Penance Finish Writing Songs For New Album
Italy's HOUR OF PENANCE recently finished the songwriting for their forthcoming album, The Vile Conception, due out this fall through Unique Leader Records. The band are expected to enter 16th Cellar Studios in Rome today, July 10th, with producer Stefano Saul Morabito to record ten new songs of "insanely fast and twisted death metal."
Hour Of Penance guitarist and main composer Giulio Moschini commented, "We worked very hard together during these months to bring you the best material we could achieve. What you will hear on the new album is the material of a renewed band, this time each member of Hour Of Penance has contributed to give his best to the songs. The ten songs you will hear on the new album are simply the fastest, most brutal and technical songs ever written by the band. We're more than excited to enter the studio and record this heavy stuff!"
Artwork will be handled by Par Olofsson.
Hour of Penance Sign With Unique Leader Records
Italian death metallers HOUR OF PENANCE have inked a deal with Unique Leader Records. The band's recently completed "Promo 2007" EP, recorded and mixed at 16th Cellar Studios with producer Stefano Saul Morabito, is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. Hour of Penance Post Promotional CD Online
Italian brutal death metal band HOUR OF PENANCE have posted their three-song promotional CD on the band's MySpace page. The effort was recorded during December at 16th Cellar Studios in Rome. The group previously used 16th Cellar Studios to record its two albums, "Disturbance" and "Pageantry for Martyrs" (both available on Xtreem Music). The track listing for the new promotional CD is as follows:
