What started as a side project for the former members of Snot, Soulfly and OneSideZero became a full time focus due to the undeniable musical chemistry between the five. Shortly thereafter, the band teamed up with Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down who took on the role as Executive Producer. Originally the band members--Jasan Radford, lead singer; Mikey Doling, guitarist; Levon Sultanian, guitarist; Marcelo Dias, bass; Roy Mayorga, drums--met while touring together in their previous efforts and decided to get together for a jam session when they returned to Los Angeles. Original Onesidezero Guitarist Rejoins The Band

Onesidezero have announced the addition of original guitarist, Brett Kane, to the group for select tour cycles. Kane has re-joined the band, along with guitarist Colin Crow, who will be filling in on the West Coast tour dates currently underway.

The band recently parted ways with guitarist Levon Sultanian "due to creative and personal differences."

"It's great to be jamming with Brett again. He's a huge part of our sound and is a great performer," says drummer Rob Basile. "I've missed his random noises and trippy affects. He also never fails to give the worst "stink eye" if someone trainwrecks at a show! As for Colin, he's an old friend and former member of the band Allergic. It's been a pleasure having him jam with us, and it feels like old Onesidezero again! Come check it out!"

"It's been great having Brett back in the band. It's like he never left. One forgets how important his parts are and then realizes how much more depth the song has when he is playing," added bassist Cristian Hernandez. "Colin is a great guitarist. Having Colin in the band is like a breath of fresh air, he's been able to cover all the parts and has even added his own style to them, so it's almost like hearing the song for the first time again."

Onesidezero recently released their Ulrich Wild (Static-X, Stabbing Westward, Taproot) produced sophomore album was released through Corporate Punishment Records. The group’s new album can be streamed in its entirety online here.

The band has announced a short tour of the West Coast to round out the year, before embarking on a European tour alongside ADEMA and RE:IGNITION in early 2008.

"We have decided to part ways with Levon due to creative and personal differences," says frontman Jasan Radford. "The past 11 years that Levon and I played together were some of the best times and some of the hardest, but as time goes on sometimes things change and you grow apart. He will be missed, but we will continue and I see Onesidezero having a strong and positive 2008. A special thanks to everyone for supporting Onesidezero.”

The band will continue to support their recently released, self-titled, sophomore album with short headlining tour of the West Coast to round out the year, including a spot on 104.7 The Edge’s "Not So Silent Night” show with Atreyu, Five Finger Death Punch and Fair To Midland. Onesidezero's Guitarist Comments on Bush

Los Angeles based ONESIDEZERO guitarist, Levon Sultanian, has commented on the Bush administration’s recommendation to Congress to reject legislation that would declare the World War I-era killings of hundreds of thousands of Armenians as genocide.

“Genocide still exists. We saw it in Rwanda (1994) and we see it in Darfur today. The only thing worse is when a mass killing of a nation is NOT RECOGNIZED as a GENOCIDE, like the Armenian Genocide,” says Sultanian. “The Bush Administration is worried that the passing of the Armenian Resolution and recognizing the mass killings in 1915 of 1.5 million Armenians will badly damage the American-Turkish relations and U.S. interests in the Middle East (Iraq and Afghanistan). How distorted is our government’s priorities? Are financial stakes more important than recognizing and acknowledging injustice against humanity? The Armenian Genocide happened; it is a reality in the history of mankind. Honest Turks like Orhan Pamuk, Nobel Peace Prize winner, acknowledge the Armenian Genocide and had the balls to ask that all Turks accept this dark historic reality.”

"This time around I went back to my roots as far as songwriting. Back to the metal, classical, blues and all the good stuff my parents raised me on," commented guitarist Levon Sultanian about the album. Onesidezero Headlines Save Darfur Benefit Concert

ONESIDEZERO will headline the "Amplify Your Voice Against Genocide" benefit concert June 9th, 2007 at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles with support from Red Snow, Slow Motion Reign and Vokee featuring former members of The Apex Theory. All proceeds from the show will go to the Save Darfur Coalition (www.savedarfur.org).

"Just like our Armenian Genocide, the Holocaust, the Native Americans discovered and conquered, Rwanda, and now a current genocide in Darfur, Sudan. We gather together to amplify our voices against genocide," says Onesidezero guitarist Levon Sultanian. "I am the offspring of martyrs of a genocide perpetrated 92 years ago. I bear testimony to the atrocities imposed upon my people. I can empathize with others in the same position. That is why I participate in the Darfur demonstrations, and I do so through my music."

ONESIDEZERO is gearing up for the release of their Ulrich Wild (Static-X, Stabbing Westward, Taproot) produced sophomore album, which is slated for June 5th, 2007 release by Corporate Punishment.

"The last 5 to 6 years have been some of the most insane and most amazing times of my life. Onesidezero as a band have grown so much together in this time. We went through the ups and downs of life and after some new demos under our belts started the rebuilding process of Onesidezero," says Sultanian. "It was really exciting to bring in all these news songs into th e recording studio after working on them at home and at rehearsal for over a year. Hope everyone digs them as much as we do!"

The band released their Maverick Records debut Is This Room Getting Smaller in 2001, which produced Active Rock singles "Instead Laugh" and "New World Order". Subsequent US tours with Incubus, 311, Soulfly, Soil and Static-X made them an instant fan favorite.

The band is currently previewing two new tracks on the group's MySpace account for fans to preview material from their forthcoming new album.

Onesidezero Postpone Self-Titled Album Release

The official release date for Onesidezero's self-titled sophomore LP has been pushed back to June 5th. The official explanation is as follows.

"We regret to inform everyone that we have decided to push back our release date a few weeks to June 5th. As many of you might know, our original release date was April 24th, which also happens to be Genocide Memorial Day, a solemn day with many negative connotations within the Armenian community.

As a band with deep roots within that community, we felt it would be inappropriate to release our album on 4/24, so, with the support of our label, we made the agonizing decision to move it back, choosing June 5th as the best available date.

We will, however, be participating in a very special Genocide Awareness benefit on that night (4/24) at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, and hopefully you can all make it down and support this very worthy cause with us."

Onesidezero has also released 2 new downloadable tracks on their MySpace page.

"My Confessions" and "Sleep" are the first two singles from the band’s upcoming Ulrich Wild (Static-X, Stabbing Westward, Pantera, Deftones) produced sophomore release, Onesidezero, in stores June 5th via Corporate Punishment Records.

The band has also lined up the following shows:

March 17th - The Knitting Factory, Hollywood, CA – Special acoustic/electric performance
March 30th - The Key Club, West Hollywood, CA – w/ (hed)pe
April 15th - Bovard Auditorium @ USC, Los Angeles, CA – Silenced Cries: A Benefit for Humanity
April 24th - The Knitting Factory, Hollywood, CA – FourTwentyFour – Recognize the Armenian Genocide Benefit w/ Vokee, Mercenaries

Onesidezero released their Jim Wirt (Incubus, Hoobastank) produced Maverick debut, Is This Room Getting Smaller?, in late 2001, and on the success of singles "Instead Laugh" and "New World Order" went on to tour with the likes of Incubus, 311, Static-X, and Soulfly, as well as garnering glowing press in Blender, FHM, Variety, Guitar World, Guitar One, and Metal Edge, and a live performance with Linkin Park on HBO’s concert series Reverb.
