As I Lay Dying Premiere New Single


San Diego-based melodic metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying has released a second single from their upcoming eighth studio album, “The Cave We Fear To Enter,” which is now available for streaming below. This track is the latest preview from the band’s forthcoming opus, set to be released later this year via their new label, Napalm Records.

Since their 2019 comeback album “Shaped By Fire,” the band has seen significant lineup changes. Only vocalist Tim Lambesis and guitarist/vocalist Phil Sgrosso remain from that era. They are now joined by ex-Unearth members Ken Susi (guitars) and Nick Pierce (drums), as well as bassist/vocalist Ryan Neff (of Miss May I).

Seven Hours After Violet have unveiled their debut single, "Paradise." The group, led by System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian, also features Taylor Barber (Left To Suffer) on vocals, Michael “Morgothbeatz” Montoya (Winds Of Plague, etc.) on guitar/production, 'American Idol' runner-up Alejandro Aranda (aka Scarypoolparty) on guitars/vocals, and Josh Johnson (Winds Of Plague, etc.) on drums.

The music video for "Paradise" was directed by Adam Mason, with creative direction from Odadjian.

Crystal Lake Sign With Century Media Records

Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake have signed with Century Media Records. Guitarist Yudai “YD” Miyamoto remarked on the new deal, saying,“We grew up on many Century Media bands. We love its history and are happy to be part of that and make new history.”

Vocalist John Robert Centorrino (formerly of The Last Ten Seconds Of Life) added, “I am proud to be part of the Crystal Lake family and now the Century Media family. I grew up on bands like Shadows Fall and Suicide Silence. It’s a label that I’ve always wanted to work and that’s finally happened!”

The band is currently working on their first new album since Centorrino joined last year, with an expected release date in early 2025. Along with the announcement of their new label, they have released a new track, “BlüdGod,” featuring Taylor Barber of Left to Suffer.
