Strong Intention Issue Update
Maryland grindcore merchants STRONG INTENTION have issued the following update:
"First off, let me apologize for the lack of updates, it certainly was not intentional. Thanx to everyone who has stayed in touch with us over the past year.
"So... where to begin. May 2006 we did one of our best tours ever with MISERY INDEX, DISFEAR, PHOBIA. For us it was 20 shows of pure thrash and grind. Great shows, great friends, definitely one of the best tours ever for us.
"After the tour ended, we went in the studio with Steve Austin to record the long awaited follow up to 'Extermination Vision', which was to be released on Goodfellow Records in the fall of 2006. We spent a very cool week up there in Massachusetts with Steve and when we left, all the music was done, we just were going to finish the vocals up in D.C. and then off to Scott Hull for mix/master. The band will not play any shows during the remainder of 2005 but will tour consistently next year. Meanwhile, Strong Intention will release a new full-length in 2006. Psyopus Drummer MIA, Band Drops Off Tour
Psyopus have dropped of their tour with Swarm Of The Lotus, Ion Dissonance, and Strong Intention. According to the band, their drummer is "MIA." Here's a statement from the group:
"It is deeply upsetting to us but, for those in the band who were dedicated to this tour, our control over other people is imaginary. We would be out there if we could be. We'll still be playing Hellfest this year with our original drummer Greg Herman and we'll be aiming to get a couple extra shows in too so we don't lose our asses financially. We are in a bind right now as you could imagine. Sorry."
The band is in debt to the tune of $2000 for the month, so be a good sport and buy some of their merch.
Ion Dissonance Finish New Album, Announce Tour
Canada's Ion Dissonance have released the following update:

We are waiting for Abacus to know when the song "Cleansed by Silence" will be uploaded on the net as first single (which should be anytime soon).
Both Canadian (last April) and American (June) tour were awesome thanks to all of you who showed to the shows and had a good time, i know we did. And thanks to all of our mates, in Despised Icon, From a Second Story Window, Reflux, and On Broken Wings, 'cause of them we had an even better time. You guys have no ideas how grateful we are...
